Case Management & Care Planning

Upon placement, each client is provided with an overview of the program and has the opportunity to ask questions and explore the space. Throughout the first thirty days of placement, our management team and staff work closely with each client to set meaningful goals and develop effective care plans. Each client is involved in the development of their care plans and have the opportunity to share their opinions, wishes or concerns at any time.

Our dedicated Clinical Managers closely oversee each clients' support, ensuring care plans are being followed and progress is being made. Regular check-ins and frequent touch-bases with each of the clients allow our Clinical Managers to hear each voice and adjust the programming accordingly.

Clinical Services

Our in-house Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA) provides direct and indirect clinical oversight to every client living in a Barrantes home. Prior to placement, our RBA conducts an informal assessment to determine the level of support each client requires when being welcomed to the our program. This allows for staff to be well-prepared to meet each client's needs, and allows for enhanced safety measures to be in place. Ongoing oversight allows for continuous monitoring of client progress, which allows our team to adjust support plans, as needed, to best address each goal set.

Clients residing in a Barrantes program also have access to a Barrantes Clinical Counsellor upon intake, and throughout their stay with Barrantes. Our Clinical Counsellors provide virtual and on-site support, offering flexibility to meet each client's needs.
